it's been a friend aeroport tonight.

first natalie came over, all sniffly and sick but heart-swooning over her eventful last night (of saying she's staying over one place and really somewhere else, ms. rebelgirl) and i gave her tissues.

elissa came over next and we talked about regan and hair colour and the tanner family (see: full house) and she dyed my hair pink.

then, lizz called. and we shot the shit for a little bit, until 'american idol' came on and there was a mad rush for the remote control.

i called lindsey and talked for a few minutes, had to call her back, no answer, and then a few minutes later, she was outside my bedroom door. we talked, about everything that needed to be talked about, and the three of us watched natalie fall asleep after taking some nyquil on my bed.

i then called natalie's father and told him i didn't want her driving home because she would be groggy and he agreed, wanting her to stay here. i told her this and she muffled a 'thank you' (she's much more complacent in her sleep---awake she was protesting that she WOULD be driving home thankyouverymuch and half-asleep she just flopped back over on my mess of pillows)

i put in belle and sebastian, turned off some of the lights and put a box of tissues by her and left my room. i have a feeling i'll be sleeping in the guestroom tonight. i bet she'll get her cold-germs all over my pillowcases and blankets, but it's worth it cause i love her and she isn't feeling well.

her parents are going back up north tomorrow so i believe wednesday and thursday night she'll be over here so i guess she can just have my room. i feel bad asking her to move. i might...just cause i need the alarm for tomorrow morning. i'll set up the guestroom bed for her and carefully ease her into there instead.

lindsey and elissa left, i cleaned the dishes in the sink, and combed my hair. now i think i'm going to carry natalie into the other bed and tuck her in tight.

xo.

prove me wrong.
